The ruler of qawwali passed on at 48 years old on August 16, 1997 leaving a tradition of more than 125 collections.

Nusrat was brought into the world on October 13, 1948 in Faisalabad and hailed from a group of qawwals.

The extraordinary melodic legend had his first open exhibition at 16 years old, at his dad's chehlum and proceeded to accumulate world prestige with his unrivaled voice and melodic qualifications.

Famously known as Shahenshah-e-Qawwali signifying 'The King of Qawwali', Nusrat is generally attributed with acquainting qawwali music with global crowds.

During his lifetime, Nusrat teamed up with a few unfamiliar specialists, including Eddie Vedder, Peter Gabriel, Jeff Buckley, Michael Brook. He was likewise remembered for the Guinness Book of World Records.

The vast majority of Nusrat's tunes including, Allah Hoo Allah Hoo and Yeh Jo Halka Suroor Hai have been remixed and delivered once more. Be that as it may, his vocals stay unequaled.
